The Farm was a project started early in 2015 through the donations and support of the Barn Christian Fellowship. The farming at Sambaland taking off nicely but we still have a lot we need to do. Sambaland used to have little to no access to water and that made farming their own fresh produce a dream. With God’s blessing and favour we managed to sink a bore hole in 2015. At 76 meters we hit water. This made farming possible, ever since we managed to plant tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, marog, spinach, cabbage, maize and banana trees. The fresh produce is not only used to feed the community but also to sell in local markets to make Sambaland self sustainable. The farming also includes chickens, rabbits and goats.
