In order to ensure that the children’s lives are disrupted as little as possible we restrict the number of volunteers to certain programmes. We do not want our children to feel that they are a spectacle and we therefore cannot accommodate short term volunteers. We encourage our volunteers to build relationships with the children and to make a lasting difference in their lives and therefore ask our volunteers to make a commitment of at least a year.
